Gigs Management Overview

Gigs are the services sellers offer on your marketplace. Access from Dashboard → Gigs.

Gigs Table Display

The gigs list shows:

  • Gig - Title, category, subcategory, and seller information
  • Price - Starting price for the service
  • Visits - Number of times viewed
  • Sales - Total number of sales
  • In Queue - Orders currently being worked on
  • Rating - Average customer rating
  • Status - Current gig status (see below)
  • Date - When the gig was created
  • Options - Action buttons

Displays 42 gigs per page, sorted by newest first.

Gig Statuses

  • Pending - Awaiting admin approval (yellow badge with approve/reject buttons)
  • Active - Live and available for purchase (green badge)
  • Rejected - Admin rejected the gig (red badge)
  • Featured - Promoted gig (indigo badge)
  • Trending - Popular gig (orange badge)
  • Boosted - Promoted by seller (gray badge)

Gig Actions

For Pending Gigs

Approve Button (Green checkmark):

  • Changes status to active
  • Sends notification to seller
  • Makes gig visible to buyers
  • Shows confirmation modal

Reject Button (Yellow X):

  • Opens rejection modal
  • Requires rejection reason
  • Sends reason to seller
  • Gig remains invisible

For All Gigs

Edit (Pencil icon):

  • Opens full gig editor
  • Can modify all gig details
  • Update pricing and packages
  • Change category/subcategory

Analytics (Chart icon):

  • Opens detailed analytics page
  • Shows performance metrics
  • Traffic and conversion data
  • Revenue reports

Delete (Trash icon):

  • Shows confirmation modal
  • Cannot delete if: Gig has pending orders in queue
  • Error message: "You can't delete this gig, it has pending orders"
  • Permanently removes gig if no pending orders

Top Navigation

Trash Button:

  • View deleted gigs
  • Option to restore deleted gigs

Important Gig Rules

  1. Approval Required: All new gigs must be approved before going live
  2. Deletion Restriction: Cannot delete gigs with active orders
  3. Category Requirements: Gig must have both category and subcategory
  4. Owner Requirement: Gig must have valid owner (seller)
  5. Notification System: Approval/rejection sends automatic notifications

Rejection Process

  1. Click reject button on pending gig
  2. Enter detailed rejection reason
  3. Reason is sent to seller via:
    • Email notification
    • Platform notification
  4. Seller can edit and resubmit

Managing Gig Quality

Review Checklist:

  • Title is clear and descriptive
  • Description explains service well
  • Images are appropriate
  • Pricing is reasonable
  • Category is correct
  • No prohibited content

Tips for Gig Management

  1. Quick Reviews: Check pending gigs daily
  2. Clear Feedback: Provide helpful rejection reasons
  3. Monitor Performance: Use analytics to identify top performers
  4. Quality Control: Remove low-quality or inactive gigs
  5. Feature Good Gigs: Promote high-quality services
